性暴力サバイバーだからこそできることがある。そんな思いを形にしたい人が自ら作るプロジェクト。公に＃MeTooと言えない人が、安全に表現できる場を提供します。
アメリカで大きな反響を呼んだ写真展「STAND：性暴力サバイバー達」の作者で自身もレイプサバイバーのフォトジャーナリスト大藪順子と一緒に、自身の声を写真に写し伝えませんか？＃MeTooといわなくてもよい社会を目指して。

全米性暴力調査センター元名誉役員。アメリカのコロンビアカレッジシカゴ卒業後、アメリカ中西部の新聞社で専属フォトグラファーを務める。その傍ら、アメリカ、カナダ、日本で約70人の性暴力被害者を取材撮影し、写真プロジェクト「STAND：性暴力サバイバー達」を発表。このプロジェクトがアメリカのテレビドキュメンタリーとなって反響を呼び、アメリカ政府犯罪被害者支援特別議会等でパネリストを務めるようになる。以来、東はワシントンDCの政府ビルから西はハワイの女性刑務所まで、全米各地で写真展と講演会をし、数々の防犯、犯罪被害者支援の全米キャンペーンにも携わる。2006年より日本でも講演会と写真展を開催。警察や行政と繋がりながら、各都道府県の性暴力被害者支援センター設立の火付け役となる。2011年シカゴの母校より卒業生賞、2008年やよりジャーナリスト賞、2002年ワシントンDCよりビジョナリーアワード受賞。著書に『STAND：立ち上がる選択』フォレストブックス出版（2007）。
About this project
This project is for survivors of sexual violence. If adding your voice to #MeToo feels too public, we have a safe place to express yourself in your own way. The director/instructor Nobuko Oyabu is a photojournalist who is also a rape survivor. This is part 2 of her renowned photo project “STAND: Faces of Rape & Sexual Abuse Survivors” which has been exhibited in the US and Japan, drew wide public attention and recognition. We encourage you to capture your voice in pictures. Together, we can create a society where no one will ever need to say #MeToo. This project involves a series of six photo workshop sessions and will culminate in an exhibit of the final products of each participant.

Graduated from Columbia College Chicago in Photo major concentration on Photojournalism. Oyabu has worked 3 daily newspapers in the Midwest of the US before became a freelancephotojournalist. She had interviewd and photographed more than 70 survivors of sexualviolence throughout the States, Canada, and Japan. The photo project entitled “ProjectSTAND: Faces of Rape and Sexual Abuse Survivors" became a travevling exhibit as well as adocumentary film on Lifetime TV. She has also spoken at many conferences, universities,and testified at the US Congressional Caucus on Violence against Women. From 2006, shehas spoken and exhibited in Japan for better support victims of sexual violence in Japan. Shehas recieved numerous awards including 2011 Alumni of the Year from Columbia CollegeChicago, 2008 Yayori Journalist Award, and 2002 Visionary Award from Washington DC.
