横浜インターナショナルユースフォトプロジェクトの活動5年間の写真作品集を出版しました！編集には大学生や高校生になった過去のプロジェクト参加者達が関わり、どんな本にしたいのか、本を通して誰に何を伝えたいのか意見を出し合い、アンケートを作って他の参加者たちの声も集めました。この写真集にはたくさんの外国につながる子どもたちの思いが込められています。

• 自分が小学生の頃、他にも自分のような子がいるということを知っていたら良かったと思うから、全国にいる外国につながる子どもたちに、この本を通してエールを送りたい。
• 私たちは普通に生活している社会の一員であることを知ってもらいたい。
• 多文化共生とかよく聞くけど、本当のところ、いったい何なの？
• 多様化する社会をビジュアル化するために、この本を教材として使ってほしい。

そんな彼らの気持ちを、この本は写真というユニバーサルランゲージで広く多くの人へ伝えます。

外国につながる中高生の声が広く届けられるように、お近くの図書館、学校図書館へリクエストをお願いいたします。

Thank you for your support for publishing our photobook “Koko Yokohama”! 

We have published the book “Koko Yokohama” from Akashi Shoten in April 2021 featuring all the pictures from 5 years of the Yokohama International Youth Photo Project between 2016-2020.
The past participants, now College students and High school seniors, are the thinkers and editors.
We have created the book as we discuss what kind of book it should be as well as gathering voices from other past participants. 

• I wish I knew someone like me existed when I was smaller, so I want to tell other international kids all over Japan that he/she is not alone.
• We are a part of the common Japanese society.
• What’s multi-cultural society anyway?
• I want people to use this book as an educational material to visualize diversity for better understanding.

The book will visualize real voices to a wide audience through the universal language AKA Photography.
We are so grateful that so many people supported us and sincerely thank you all for your support for international youths in Yokohama and beyond.

◎2019年7月3日　代表の大藪順子がNHK総合テレビ『クローズアップ現代＋』に出演しました。　|　Our director Nobuko Oyabu appeared on NHK General TV’s program “Today’s Close-up” on July 3, 2019.

大藪順子は、薬物を使った性暴力の回でコメントしました。
She commented in a segment about sexual violence with date rape drugs.
